وزیراعظم عمران خان نے شوکت خانم کینسر ہسپتال پشاور کا دورہ کیا ہے اور شہریوں سے چندہ دینے کی اپیل کی ہے۔
سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ٹویٹر پر اپنے ایک پیغام میں انہوں نے لکھا کہ شوکت خانم ہسپتال کے نئے آپریٹنگ روم اور آئی سی یو کا افتتاح ہونے پر خوش ہوں۔ یہ سہولیات مکمل ہونے کے بعد شوکت خانم ہسپتال تکمیل کے آخری مراحل میں ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ شوکت خانم ہسپتال میں پشاور سمیت خیبرپختونخوا، اسلام آباد اور شمالی علاقوں کے کینسر میں مبتلا مریضوں کا علاج ہوسکے گا، شوکت خانم ہسپتال لاہور 1994 میں بنا، لاہور میں بننے والے شوکت خانم ہسپتال میں میں 30 فیصد مریض خیبرپختونخوا اور افغانستان سے آتے تھے، اس لئے پشاور میں شوکت خانم ہسپتال بنانے کا فیصلہ کیا تھا۔

وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ شوکت خانم ہسپتال کینسر کے مریضوں کے مفت علاج کے لئے عوام دل کھول کر چندہ دیں۔ عوام چندہ دیں تاکہ 2023 میں شوکت خانم ہسپتال کراچی بھی مکمل ہوسکے۔
